If only...

I'm a dreamer. My hubby calls it scheming but whatever.

If only...

I was an architect
I got to swim with dolphins
I brought a friend to God
I brought a stranger to God
My mom didn't have Alzheimer's
I had a better memory and wasn't fearful of developing Alzheimer's myself
I ziplined in the tall jungle of Costa Rica
I learned to surf
I was skinny again, sexy even
I could afford to send my kids to a private Christian school
I lived in a dream house with a dream yard...and a beach house in Santa Cruz
I won a year's worth of scrap kits! wescrapkits.blogspot.com/
My marriage was perfect and my children always spoke with respect.

And here's the rub...all things are possible!

Family Heritage

So my mom's side of the family (10 kids!) planned a family reunion. In preparation for the reunion, I scanned in tons of our older family photos and made scrapbook pages to share at the reunion. I also was in charge of researching our family tree on ancestry.com (fabulous site) and then creating on large post boards. I used 6 posters for Granny & Grandad down! Now, that's one big family!

Here are some of the beauties I made with my heritage pics that I got the joy and privilege to share with my aunts, uncles and cousins. They all "belong" to my mom for now but I know I'll end up with them again someday. They were a joy to create.
